Hunt and Arena are the only gamemodes that have not been changed or reworked their gameplay mechanics have stayed the same, save for some balancing. In Evacuation, players and monsters embark on a special set of 5 missions around Shear, which includes all game modes Hunt, Defend, Nest, and Rescue. If the monster destroys the refueling tower, or kills all hunters, Monster Wins! If the hunters successfully defend the generators for a set duration, or kill the monster, the hunters win! Minions spawn regularly and will actively destory generators, and eventually the refueling station. In Defend, hunters must protect an evacuation ship from a Stage 3 monster. The gamemodes Rescue, Evacuation, Defend, and Nest have been removed. ![]() A Special Halloween "gamemode" for Gorgon was exclusive to Wraith Trap, where the path to the center trap is set in a spiral, and the trap is surrounded by acid! Eggs spawn in locations as well, which players can shoot to prevent minion spawns. ![]() (So "weather does not try to kill us"~Markov) All available maps have been reworked, that means vegetation removed, weather reworked. Since the Defend Gamemode was removed, here's the list of maps removed from said gamemode: Colonial Water/Power, Kings Fort, New Calico, and Salveron Industries. All these maps are still available in Legacy. The following maps have been removed, the ones that stayed have been reworked:Īrmory, Aviary, Barracks, Dam, Fusion Plant, Medlab, Refueling Tower, Rendering Plant, Broken Hill Mine, and Broken Hill Foundry. The only available maps in Stage 2 are Wraith Trap, Distillery, Weather Control, Orbital Drill. Gamma-ray bursts.Lets start with how maps are different in Stage 2 and Legacy. They are also in the range required for the collapsar model of They are small enough to avoid triaxial deformations of the iron coreīefore it collapses, but could lead to neutron stars which rotate close toīreak-up. These values are insensitive to the initial angular Specific angular momenta for the iron core and overlaying material ofġE16.1E17 erg s. Neglecting magnetic fields, we find angular momentum transport from theĬore to the envelope to be unimportant after core helium burning. Stellar winds and the redistribution of angular momentum during core hydrogenīurning are of crucial importance for the specific angular momentum of theĬore. Angular momentum loss due to (non-magnetic) The angular momentum distribution in typical presupernova stars along with That rotation increases the helium core masses and enriches the stellarĮnvelopes with products of hydrogen burning. Uncertain mixingĮfficiencies are gauged by observations. The effects of theĬentrifugal force on the stellar structure are included. Rotationally induced circulation and instablities. Redistribution ofĪngular momentum and chemical species are then followed as a consequence of Velocity on the ZAMS ranges from zero to ~ 70 % of break-up. Initial angular momentum is chosen such that the star's equatorial rotational The range 8 to 25 M_sun is followed through all stages of stable evolution.
